  • Real Madrid 0 - Arsenal 1!!!!!!!!!!!

    Oh yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a way to reply to my scathing diatribe against the gunners. Every player showed a resolve and class capable of winning the Champions League. There was drive lacking in premiership games.
It does seem to be true that a team cannot fight on all fronts. There are many examples over the last few seasons which I won't bore you with.

This 1-0 is up there with the 5-1 against Inter. Come on!!!

  • New Years and other rememberances

I met a nice girl on New Years Eve. From Australia. And I can stop thinking about her. Yes, can is the right word, but I still find myself thinking about her on a quiet moment. Thank you Em. It's better than thinking of the rut I am in at the moment.

I keep thinking about the dog I gave up after two days. Poor little thing but I didn't have the patience to deal with it 24/7. Have I any resolve? It didn't help that it was a mutt. I think I need a docile pure breed. A pedigree Alaskan malamute. But still I have something to prove to show I have an aspect other than continuous introspection.

    Right, forget rememberances.

This BBC Hyperdrive was quite funny wasn't it? Albeit, it was hit and miss, but it was more hit than miss. 'Gary Neville day' - genius.

And now, American Dad. Good but not a patch on Family Guy. Which I believe is better than the Simpsons. And some of these new South Parks were fucking genius. Ahh...

I'm off to look at porn.

  • Back

I have the internet back up again and here I am after a sabbatical.
    Summary:

Arsenal are doing terribly. We need a core of British players with the resolve and talent to hold games and stimulate the team into a more dominant force. Not all these french speaking fancy passing tossers. They have great talent yes, but the ludicrous wages are an anti-incentive to add a physical side to their game. Wenger keeps buying flimsy frenchies and lets homegrown talent get away! Pennant: doing well at Birmingham. Bentley: same for Blackburn - scored a hat trick for crissakes! I'm no BNP nobhead and I believe that anyone can do a job - Adebayor for instance looks top class and strong - but all these new nobodies that he keeps signing: long term strategy, check; short term stategy, failed.
There are too many problems to mention but I'll rate some of the players herein.

Ljungberg: great drive and determination but his runs are old news to any premiership defender. Will score a load in the Champions League though. 7/10.

Van Persie: top draw, just needs to be match fit 100% all the time. 10/10.

Pires: where's the heart gone? ?/10

Henry: confused as whether to stay or join Ronaldinhio. Has no drive and motivation for the rest of the team. Not a suitable captain. He joins the rest of us in missing Vieira. Against a weak team: he's unstoppable. Playing tough teams: wilts like the rest of the team. ?/10

Fabregas and Reyes: excellent but seem to be wondering if the Arsenal that they're playing for is the real one. "Ce? This is the right London club, right?" Reyes has been demoralised by all the strikers that have been bought. Wenger can and does change players positions (eg Toure, Henry, etc) but I enjoyed Reyes up front. Reyes and Van Persie? Match made in heaven. Cesc: dynamite. Will be a Spanish 1st team regular. 10/10 each.

Flamini, Eboue, etc: We've let Justin Hoyte, Bentley etc go why? Flamini did have a good game against Liverpool but still. 4/10

Lehmann: good form at the moment. 9/10. still a crazy kraut when it comes to getting angry! That injury that didn't get the ref's attention was priceless!

Gilberto: plays for Brazil but won't be remembered as a great. 5/10

Hleb: class, but needs to learn from Freddie and Pires, and Bergkamp while we're at it. 7.5/10

Lauren: best attacking right back there is. A black Lee Dixon sometimes. Shame he's getting old. 8/10

Cole and Campbell: how the mighty have fallen. Cole's waitin for both his foot and his relationship with Arsenal to mend and hopes he can get some more money. If not, he's off to cunts Chelski. Laying around, £90k a week, nobbing Cheryl Tweedy... I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks his foot over and over, each month. Sol Campbell: poor lad. Been through a lot and lack of match fitness has destroyed his game. I for one want to see this phoenix rise from the ashes. _/10 and _/10 respectively.

    I'm off now cos it's 5am.

    Viva the Arsenal.

P.S. Come on England Cricket team.

  • Super series of cricket

Well, that World XI didn't live up to scratch but bring on the super test and we'll give 'em a proper game, especially with Freddie's reverse swing.

Has anyone found a way to stay awake from 5am to 1pm for the cricket? Now it's the Test it'll be 7 hours but I'll still get tired.

One day I'll write about the topics in my blog info...
